De LUYT Colheita 2021 Branco is gemaakt van Gouveio, Viosinho en Rabigato, typische inheemse Portugese witte druiven soorten, wat deze wijn zijn unieke karakter geeft.<\/p>\n

Wijngaard\/Terroir<\/h4>\n

De LUYT Colheita 2021 Branco komt van druiven van een speciaal door Maarten van Luyt geselecteerd veld op gemiddeld 550m hoogte aan de zuidzijde van de Douro vallei in het UNESCO-werelderfgoed gebied. Door de indirecte zon op de noordelijke hellingen ontwikkelen de druiven zich hier langzaam maar krachtig. De bodem is vooral leisteen. De opbrengst is 3000 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n

Productie<\/h4>\n

De LUYT Colheita 2021 Branco\u00a0is met de hand geplukt en in 20kg kistjes naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier zijn de druiven gesorteerd, geperst en direct in een roestvrijstalen tank \u201ckoel vergist\u201d bij een maximumtemperatuur van 15o<\/sup>C om zijn expressieve fruitigheid te bewaren. Deze Branco moet minstens \u00e9\u00e9n winter op de Quinta blijven voordat deze gebotteld wordt.<\/p>\n

Colheita<\/h4>\n

De LUYT Colheita 2021 Branco mag een Colheita genoemd worden omdat hij\u00a0<\/span>aan de hoge kwaliteitseisen voldoet van het IVDP (Instituto dos Vinhos\u00a0<\/span>do Douro e do Porto).<\/p>\n

Jaar<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Het jaar 2021 is voor de Douro wijnen een goed jaar geweest met een betrekkelijk lange oogstperiode en hogere opbrengsten dan de twee voorgaande jaren. De hittegolven die andere streken in Europa hebben getroffen zijn de Douro bespaard gebleven. Na de vrij koele en droge zomer werden de wijngebieden eind augustus getrakteerd op zeer welkome regenval wat de planten nog een boost heeft gegeven tot het voortbrengen van mooi bruikbaar fruit.<\/p>\n

De LUYT Colheita 2021 Branco is een toegankelijke fruitige wijn. Zijn karakter met, mineralen, mooie zuren, elegant citrus (limoen, citroen) en zijn perfecte balans zorgen voor een sympathieke afdronk met een licht pepertje en een frisse lichtgroene tint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
